Welcoming Back Students: Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Eta Iota Iota Chapter Champions Education

On August 13, 2025, the Eta Iota Iota Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., "Crucian Ques" demonstrated its commitment to education and community by greeting students, parents, and staff on the first day of the new academic year at Lew Muckle Elementary School on St. Croix.

The fraternity, known for their strong spirit of service, were a beacon of positivity at the school's entrance. They offered warm smiles and words of encouragement, setting a supportive and enthusiastic tone for the academic year. Their presence underscored the importance of strong role models and community involvement in fostering a positive learning environment.

A Commitment to Service

The Crucian Ques' actions at Lew Muckle Elementary exemplify the tenets the fraternity, particularly "Uplift," as they actively supported the community by showing up for its youngest members. Their initiative, described as "strong starts begin with strong role models," highlighted the vital role of fathers and male figures in a child's educational journey.

This event was a powerful reminder that education is a community-wide effort. The visible support from the fraternity not only encouraged the students but also created a sense of partnership between the school and the broader community. The "FirstDaySmiles" and "LewMuckleFamily" hashtags used to describe the event perfectly capture the warm and inclusive atmosphere the brothers helped create, showcasing a powerful collaboration for the betterment of St. Croix's youth.
